At this newly built Glen Iris home, the owners wanted to make sure their outdoor stairs weren’t just a feature by day — but safe and beautifully lit by night too. They reached out to Kenner Electrics to design and install a low-voltage garden lighting system that would highlight the stairs running up the side of the house. With some conduit already in place from earlier works, we were able to get started quickly.
Efficient Low-Voltage Garden Lighting System
LED strip lights with clean cabling and tidy finishes
We supplied and installed three SAL LED strip lights along the stairway, carefully mounted to provide a soft, even glow that makes each step easy to see without any harsh glare. To power the system safely, we installed a low-voltage garden lighting transformer in the nearby man cave area and ran the necessary cabling from an existing downstairs outlet. The entire system was tested, commissioned, and finished with clean channel and ducting work for a tidy look.
